    Dear Parishioners
Life has changed but not ended. I know a lot of you are feeling anxious and sad with every thing that is going on with this virus. Not being able to attend Mass is a rather big CROSS for all of us to endure. But with every CROSS that we are asked to carry there comes New Life. I BELIEVE that we are going to come out of this a better country, church and people.
I ask that everyone please take care of themselves, check on your neighbor, and adhere to the CDC Guidelines. We will get through this CROSS.
We will re-schedule ALL Important Events as soon as we are able such as: Bringing individuals into our Catholic Church, 1st Holy Communion, our Senior High School Mass and Breakfast.
We are encouraged to find ways of staying connected to our faith. I invite people to read Sacred Scripture, pray the Rosary, make an Altar of Prayer in your homes.
If anyone needs anything or has any questions call 270-313-6088.
I have daily private Mass in my home and praying for all of you and your needs. Until we are able to be together again, I’m sending my love to ALL.
    Fr. Tony

  • important update

Some people have asked about their contributions to the church during this time of crisis, realizing that the church will continue to have bills that will need to be paid.  We are blessed in many ways with the generosity of so many of our parishioners.  Financially, we are okay at the present;  looking ahead, I could see our school needing some financial assistance.  With that being said, if you would like to continue your donation to the church, that would be greatly appreciated.  But I do want families to take care of their immediate needs first.
Let us continue to pray for one another during this difficult time.  Let us also continue to reach out to our neighbors who might be in greater need than us.

If you wish to make donations, you may mail them to the office at:

    St Romuald Catholic Church
    394 HWY 259 N
    Hardinsburg, KY 40143

An alternative to mailing a donation that several have started this month is to use WeShare app that you can find on our St Romuald website or you can find it at https://stromuald.churchgiving.com/

If you have trouble accessing or setting up your donation, call Jane at 270-756-2356.  She will be answering the phone on most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays even though the church office remains closed.

    Love and Prayers,
    Fr Tony Jones

  • pope francis's prayer to mary during coronavirus pandemic

    O Mary,
you always shine on our path
as a sign of salvation and of hope.
    We entrust ourselves to you,
    Health of the Sick,
who at the cross took part in Jesus' pain,
    keeping your faith firm.
You, Salvation of the Roman People,
    know what we need,
and we are sure you will provide
so that, as in Cana of Galilee,
we may return to joy and to feasting
    after this time of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform to the will of the Father
and to do as we are told by Jesus,
who has taken upon himself our sufferings
    and carried our sorrows
to leads us, through the cross,
to the joy of resurrection. Amen

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.

  • act of spiritual communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in this Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment recieve You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen
